Buying a 2012 Platinum, help me select a color

Hey guys, I'm planning on purchasing my first Ford truck this week and I'm having trouble deciding between Sterling Grey and Tuxedo Black. I'm going with the 2012 Platinum Ecoboost. I've owned a black truck before and remember it being hell to keep clean.

Any suggestions from you guys that are more experienced with the F-Series would be very helpful.

Thanks!

I picked the gray its looks great had a black one before my 2012 FX4 it was hard to keep the black clean. It was a hard choice for me between the black and gray but I'm so happy with the gray colour looks great.

If you go with the gray the ugly platinum tailgate plate doesn't look so bad.

Haha agreed my grey truck was easy to keep clean. I have seen one platinum and one lariat in person in the grey mostly I see that color on the xlt's and xl's round here. I think grey looks good I am partial to it myself.

Gray is the way to go. As you already know, black is impossible to keep clean.
I prefer dark colors but went with silver on my current truck, It looks clean even when filthy dirty.

Should be picking up my new Sterling grey crew soon. Had the same agonizing decision as you and went with grey over the black. Just trying to make life easier as I get older.

The Red one the best color I've ever seen on a F150
