Installed Grille and Bull Bar Today

Pretty much went on without a hitch. Fishing the bolts for the bull bar mounting brackets through the frame was a little time consuming, but not too bad. Two of the studs on the grille had rusted to the mounting studs, a little easy off oven cleaner took care of that.

There was originally supposed to be a before and after photo here...I will work on getting the pics up for ya!

Thanks guys! Before I bought it, I would have said that kind of hood really wasn't my thing, same with the color really. I was looking for a black FX4 but I couldn't stop looking at this one on the dealer website and found myself taking the long way to work so I could drive by. It took 2 days to convince myself. I'm lovin it and I get a lot of nice comments on it. I live in a pretty small town so there's not really anything else like it. I'm very glad I chose it.

No, that one didn't let you relocate the front emblem. It is from the seller "truck restlying" I also saw a gloss black one on there that looks pretty sweet.

Thick as in the width of the bars? I was concerned about that when I purchased it, at least as far as airflow is concerned. I wanted something "beefy" almost F250 like, something that was a little over the top compared to the other trucks around here. I looked at the Tonka grilles as well, but I could lift the truck 3 more inches for the price of one of those! Once I opened the box I was more relieved by the spacing between the bars. I have kept my eye on the temp gauge and it doesn't seem like I heat up any quicker than with the stock grille, I think the true test there will be this summer.

That hood is awesome!!

No offense but i think a black grill and bullbar would have looked better.

None taken. If I had painted bumpers I would have done that with some black rims. It's not hard to over-chrome, so I have to be careful.
