custom billet antennas

Found this on my GM msg board. Thought I would post the link here for everybody. Guy makes custom billet antennas in different widths, lengths, and styles for pretty much all models. I just ordered the 5" "bullet style" polished today. Anyway, here is the link.

I hope it's ok to post a link to another forum. If not, sorry mods.

He is just a member on there. He does them on the side. He doesn't have a website or anything. You just have to PM him what style, length, finish you want and what your make/model/year is so he can get the threads right. I suggest you read through the thread thoroughly before ordering though because he only makes up to certain lengths for some styles, he has different finishes but does not do paint, and has different prices for different material. Best bet is to PM him first and find out how much the one you want is gonna cost. I got the 5", bullet style, full polished, stainless, for $30 shipped.

Awesome little custom mod that nobody else around will have. I love mine. I look at it all the time through the windshield and think to myself "that's bad ***"

Man the front of mine rides like a dream but the back is pretty bad. bottoms out on the helper bags a lot and is pretty rough sometimes. I've tried several different setup but I thing bags all the way around with a 4link in the rear to eliminate the leafs is the only way to achieve a real nice ride with a lowered truck. That's the route I'm gonna go, lay frame.

Very nice! Did you notice any reception difference with the radio?

I haven't listened to terrestrial radio since the invention of satellite radio and now that sync has the USB thumb drive port I will really never listen to AM/FM. The antenna is just a cosmetic mod in my case. I would imagine if you live in the city it would work fine. If you lived out in the sticks far away from the towers it prob wouldn't pick up as good as a regular antenna.
