Come to think of it sometimes when I start my truck it automatically goes to FM. I usually just hit the button to switch it right away but I haven't noticed it being fuzzy sounding before I change it. I live in the city though.

If you lived out in the sticks far away from the towers it prob wouldn't pick up as good as a regular antenna.
nice! cant wait to see the turnout. that was the plans with my frontier, just never got around to it. then i decided i wanted a bigger truck. it took me about 2 months to make my mind up on lowering it or leveling it, but im glad i chose level. although your truck looks awesome lowered and is one of the best lowered f150s ive seen. now i know exacty what mine would have looked like

I like it, but just shave it!

Also, what is the legal tint limit in TX? Do they care how dark tint is? I'd like to get 5% in my truck.

It will eventually get shaved along with all the handles and emblems so that is a temporary fix.

legal tint is 35% on the front two and whatever you want on the rest except the windshield, can't go below the AS1 line. I have tinted glass that was 20% on the back three and 20% film on the front two. Then I put 5% over all of that along with a 5% visor so mine are super black can't see in at all. I have a medical exemption from the state DPS and a letter I carry due to a medical condition so I can run whatever I want. I get pulled over sometimes but once they read my letter they have to let me go. It has the state seal and is signed in Ink by the Chief of the DPS.

Must be nice. So, basically I can only run 5% brow and rear window, then 35% driver and passenger? I'm already illegal since I'm 20%.

If you are 20% on the front two then technically you are illegal. If you meant the back then you're fine. But yeah, 5% brow, 35% driver/pass, and whatever you want on the backs.

Thank you. Wife loved having 5% in the back for her mazda and I guess I'll enjoy 5% on my rear as well.

Legal is actually 25% transparency on the front side windows.

Every shop will tell you legal is 35% because thats the darkest film they can install and still be legal overall transparency. They dont understand the difference between film darkness and transparency

oh ok. good to know. I never really had to know because of my exemption. All of mine are at like 2% transparency.
