I like it either way. I thought about doing this too since I have the Dark Stone, but I have chrome.

Wow !

Now I'm really stoked to do this !

I'm especially happy to hear from those of you who don't usually like camo on a truck, but still think it will look good / correct, on mine :-)

2008_XL, I wouldn't go so far as to say, it would "only" work with my color..... I've seen some camo kick panels on forest green, and desert sand that looked pretty good too.... But even those had chrome on them ! It's like > Are they trying to blend in with the camo, and stand out with the chrome, at the same time ? I dunno. But anyway.....

If it comes out as sweet as I'm hoping, you guys KNOW I'll be taking a bunch of shots of it, and e-mailing the best ones to the Camo accent company to show it off

Ya' know, even before the camo, I've always said about my truck, love it, or hate it, but you are not likely to see another one like it.....

Now that will "really" be the case !

Thanks again for all the replies.

Peace,
Fish

Oh ! Randy ! Yea, I have caught some absolute monsters, as recently as a few days ago.... but not of the Largemouthed variety LOL
Check out these MONSTER Redear Sunfish !
Got this 3.2 lb, 14 1/2" a couple weeks ago....

Then got this 3.1 lb'er a few days ago !

Of course size is relative to the species. These are probably as big a deal, as a 13-15 lb Largemouth.

If you saw my recent pics at Rods and Guns, you probably saw this one.... but the rest of these guys haven't....
7.3 lb Smallmouth, from this Spring. Just a beautiful fish. I thought the photos came out really good too.

I normally think camo looks terrible on trucks, but it'll look good on yours. I think it'd look even better if it'd match the boat.

thats gonna look sweet Chris! Can't wait to see it! We just got a brand new truck at work for the hunter's safety and fishing program and it is silver with sage camo with a big Mule deer along the bottom of one side, and has water and a bass jumping out of it along the other side and it looks AWESOME! makes me want to do the sage camo to my Dark Shadow Gray colored truck!

Hey Za, yea, I hear you..... but I already know it won't be that close to the boat camo, as it was stenciled on, and is totally flat, whereas the camo kit is printed, on semi-glossy vinyl. I know the vinyl has more green in it too. Honestly, I'm already thinking the best shots of the truck, will be with just the truck by itself.... parked out in the wetlands near my home of course

700, yea', I think it would look great with Dark Stone. I always liked that color. I remember that's what I wanted, and I was pissed that they quit using it in 08', as the online photos of Stone Green didn't look that good, but when I saw it in person, I fell in love with it, so all was fine.

Peace,
Fish

I love the color of your truck. Its one of my favorites, especially with black accents. Cant wait to see it with the camo. Sage camo would look good with my truck because the sage has gray/silver tones in it. Other camos probably wouldn't look too good though.

Thank you FFEM, but no, actually Rods and Guns is a really nice fishing / hunting shop we have about 10 miles from my house.

My website is pretty old, and now just archived, but if your interested, it's called TrophyBassOnly.com
It's not just my trophy catches, but hundreds of others as well.

Nowadays I'm kind of getting back to my fishing roots, which is to say, I'll fish for anything that will bite my hook and give me a fight I don't care if its a 3 lb Sunfish, or a 300 lb Sturgeon I'm still always down for a 10 or 15 lb Largemouth, but unless I have a really good shot at one like that, I'd rather fish for whatever is biting the best at the time.

Fear no fish !

Peace,
Fish

Fish Chris, I said I thought it would only look good on your truck because I've seen others with camo accents and just didn't think it looked good. I think it will work well on your truck though.

Chris...I think the camo will look killer on your truck!! I've been thinking about doing something similar with my truck, but I just can't pull the trigger on it! Please post some pic's of the finished truck...I'd love to see it!
