I just bought an fx2 and im blacking it out and im torn between painting my emblems and ovals flat or gloss black im going for the stealthly look which both

I used flat black and am happy with how they turned out. It matches the honeycomb grill perfect. Truck is now fully blacked out, but these pics were in process.

Did the headlights in flat black as well.

For the F-150 emblems ...
  • surround - satin black.
  • insert - gloss black.
    *Sorry ... No pic' (yet).
For the Ford oval emblems ...
  • [*]

In an ideal world I would get all the badges off my F150. I have a billet grill (so that has no badge), other than that I would get some made that are individual. I am not a fan of completely painting the whole badge, if u can hardly read it why have it at all? Seems a bit pointless but each to there own.

well id rather have badges you cant see than the alignment holes that are currently visible i would also prefer no badges at all so i figured this would be second best

Use Rustoleum Matte black wheel paint.. It looks good and doesn't fade in the sun.. Just be sure to prep the chrome properly.
