I bought a 2005 FX2 Grille online and ordered the Ford oval for the FX2 from LMC truck. IT doesnt fit. Its way too big a good inch or so too long. Does the FX2 Grille take a diffirent size oval than the other grilles or did I get a bum grille?

 

I got a 9" x 3.5" oval and the spot for the oval on the grille is 7" x 3". What the !?

 

Apparently the FX2 Grille takes an oval from 99-03 model years. Why then does LMC truck sell an oval which is too big for the grille. Makes you wonder.

 

The FX2 Blue oval is 7" long for all the 04-08 MY Part # AS4Z-8213-A From Tasca Parts
