I have a 2010 f150 Lariat edition with a chrome grille. I am wanting for one the outer shell to be black and i am going to add billet inserts, but i do not know where i can find a black grille outer shell or even better a black billet grille that comes with the shell. does anyone know where i may find one?

The black outer shell is only found on Black FX4 and Harley Edition F-150's so you will have to find someone selling theirs or looking to trade for a chrome one. I would also look on eBay for one because Ford doesn't sell just the surround.

 

It says you have to modify the oem grille. And it looks like any that don't have bars going all the way from left to right will work. I think you will need to cut the grille to install this. The ones all listed have bars going up and down but not all the way side to side. The grilles are just plastic chrome which you can paint. I have a chrome Xlt grille I'll trade for your lariot grille.
