Hey guys, I just got my 98 F-150, and I'm looking to get a ford lightning body kit for it. I've looked around and I can't seem to find one. Know any place that has one? Thanks!

 

There's not really a "body-kit" per-say; it's just different OEM fascias. First off since you've got a 98, your front end is different than the lightning's. Look at the shape of the headlights and grille. So from what I know (OBS style guys jump in here, I don't know as much as y'all) you will need the Lightning Bumper, Headlights, Grille Grille surround. What I don't know if you'll need or not is the hood, radiator support and bumpers.

You haven't told us what bodystyle you have. So I'm not sure if you have the Reg cab, stepside bed and could truly create a Lightning Replica. Many people have put the L front end on other body styles. I've seen it on Ex-Cabs, Reg Cabs with the styleside bed, etc.

Most likely you aren't going to trick anyone in the scene that it's an actual Lightning; but if you like the look then go for it! I can say that if I had the proper bolt-pattern I'd be (wanting to at least) rocking a set of L Wheels!
