MGP Caliper Covers

Does anyone have any pics of MGP caliper covers actually on an F150, if yes please post. Im thinkin of getting a set but want to know what they look like on an F150. I have a true blue '05 XLT and can't decide what color, out of the three they offer at reg. price, would look best. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Rock On

Just paint your OEM calipers and brackets.... Much better looking than the overpriced cheap looking covers that retain heat..

Someone requested updated photos. They look fantastic still to this day. Proper preparation and ample cure time pay off in the long term end.

I'll agree with Darren on this one. I think that painted calipers look fantastic. It takes a bit more time and effort than the covers, but it may in fact be cheaper.

I feel like it added the right touch to my slotted rotors.

Just my $0.02 worth.

Be sure to post pics regardless what road you take.

I just used the Duplicolor Brake Caliper Painting kit. I got it when I worked at the garage; but I feel like I've seen it at O'Reilys before...

Im going to actually call mgp tomorrow and see if I can buy just the rears in black without there logo and then get a decal made to look like the wilwood logo on the front calipers to match. Now I have got to find a set of oem replacements that resemble the wilwood front rotors

X2 with the duplicolor. Took a drill with a metal brush bit and cleaned them first. Then washed with soap and dried. Then 3 coats of the paint letting each coat dry inbetween. They have held up well. The spots around the rear where the bolts go thru the caliper have chipped a little but its only noticeable when you are right up next to the caliper and the wheel is removed. I can touch them up as I have about 1/4 of the paint left. And it only cost me about $25 to do

I'm going to go with either the G2 or duplicolor paint setup, some power slot rotors and either ebc or hawk pads on my next brake job. The MGP calipers are way too much and the more I look at them the cheaper and more rice burner they look. Thanks everybody for you're input it was a big help. Ill let yall know when I do them.
