Finding the right offset on 22x9.5 inch wheels

Hey guys how's it going. I'm new on this site and hoping to find answers. I have been reading about this question for a little while now and can't seem to find a straight answer. I have an 08 f150 and I'm looking for 22" rims but might put a mild drop on it later like a 2 and 4 kit. I want to make sure I get the right offset so there's no rubbing issues. I see that the average offset on this size is around +30 to +35. Can anyone shed any light on this?
