Please help! How do i get rid of this two tone?

I have been reading this site for a couple of weeks and finally picked up a 2006 XLT 5.4 4x4. I love the truck and it is getting a 2.5" AS lift along with 35" tires. What i dislike about the truck is the two tone nature and the chrome bumpers. What are my options to make that go way? Here are a couple of pics of the truck. I figure that the silver of whatever paint can be repainted to match the truck, but not sure what to do with the chrome bumpers.

Also if anybody has pictures of post modifications such as what i am asking i would highly appreciate it. Thanks.

you could either get the bumpers professionally painted or slap some bedliner over them

Line-X w/Extra over the rockers and bumpers.. Or PTM the rockers and powder coat the bumpers Or swap your chrome bumpers for painted and PTM them.

Thanks for the inputs. Just to clarify the options:

1) Line-X which i assume is bed liner material the bumpers and rockers. Do they color match these to the truck? And how does it look?

2) If i paint the rockers to match the truck, the only thing left are the bumpers. Can you powder coat over chrome? Or do they have to be sand blasted etc? Also when you powder coat is it only in black or can it be color matched?

1. Yes..Ive seen a member here just recently that had PTM Line-X work done.

2. Yes they can powdercoat over chrome, Yes it will probably need to be sand blasted first. As far as powdercoat colors im not poss so ill let someone else take that one..

Search function bro. There's a ton of info on this..

There's a few members on here that have done this to an XLT.. I cant remember names off the top of my head but 1 did the Line-X and looks really good.. You could buy used bumpers and paint them to match..

Either way you decide, It's going to cost a few $$

You might want to restrict your advise to the tuner section. Just a suggestion.
