How to open Headlight?

Hello guys,
I'm looking for 2008 smoke, chrome housing headlights and find a few nice once. My question is how can I open the headlight? Meaning separating the front clear shield from the housing? I assume i use regular glue to glue them back together.

I'm thinking about open the headlights up and build additional nice marker lights in.

But I'm not so sure, so this is just a question.

230*F @ 8-10 minutes. Use clear bathroom silicone to seal them

Put the headlight on a piece of flat wood or something similar to prevent the oven rack from melting the housing exterior.

Be sure to have beer in the fridge, the backing process took me about 3 hours total since I had to bake each light 4 times.
