Auto Mod Zone cut out billet grille

So I purchased a grille combo (upper and lower billet) off ebay for my 07 F150. I didn't realize this is a "cut out style". The instructions are horrible and the pictures are about a 1/8 square in black and white. I did a search on here for how to's and found nothing on "cut out style grille's" any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Any luck with the grille installs. I am getting ready to order and I can not decide between the one that you have to cut out versus the replacement and then get the lower seperate. I want them to match. I can not seem to find to many answers in searching this forum.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

KD

I have the the billet style replacement from auto mod zone , trust me get the no-cut one, its less of a pain, just make sure you don't over torque the nuts when you put the unit back on your hood, or else you'll need a new grill surround.

I bought the same one (the cut out style) and finally figured it out on my own, but in all the confusion i let my cutting disc slip and sliced my grill shell, so no i am buying the complete shell with billet already in it, you just take the mounting brackets off of old and apply to new then bolt it right up. But i still cant figure out where the bumper insert mounts attach, anyone figure that out

Well I got mine all cut out and it looks really good. I'm actually having the surround painted to match white and the I'm having the billet all powdercoated flat black to match my wheels. I'll get pics up when I'm all done. It was actually so easy it was hard. haha Just tape the trim off use a steady hand and sand all the edges down.
