tint questions???

Alright, so the little lady got me a gift certificate for window tint for Xmas. I don't know much about tint other than I wanted to tint my fronts, and I want the rest to match. I'm not looking to go super dark, so I want it to all be legal, and I don't want to have to worry about not being able to see at night out my rear window.

Any advice as far as what I should get put on?

Anyone with pic's, that'd be nice too.

i would just get 20% on the fronts, and if u dnt have tint on the rest i would get 5% on the rear passenger side windows and the rear i would get 20% since you dnt wana have trouble seeing at night

My truck is 20% and its perfect for me. 30% is the legal limit here though.

bite the bullet and be like me, i have 5% over 20% on my back window, my sides are 5% over 30%, and my whole windshield is 50%. nah, to tell you the truth i wish i had lighter tint at times. but it does look good when the suns directly at your back and all you can see is the steering wheel, part of the dash, and the pillars. lol

Really depends on what is legal in your state then... I think the factory tint on the back windows is 17% I had 15% installed all the way around except the windshield which I got them to do 5% on it. You can still easily see into the front windows and I dont have any problems at night at all but again if your wanting to be legal the tint guy will be able to tell you what the darkest you can "legally" do but honestly, Ive never heard of anyone having trouble with tint just a couple of shades darker than legal. So if your limit is 50%, id do at least 35%..

If you decide to match the back windows do 15% because most tint is actually a couple percent higher than stated from what I was told by some tint guys.
