PTM Handles

Been doing some reading on painting handles and LT handles. I want to PTM mine but I don't want the chrome. Would it be easier to try and paint my plastic ones or buy the LT ones and sand the chrome down and then paint them?

can anyone vouch for these ebay handles? Compared the the FOCO prices for $25 bucks, they dont sound to promising.. but I could be wrong. Are they available from the dealer already painted ??

I have found all but the driver side with the keypad. How hard would it get a textured one and paint it?

Or I found a complete chrome handle (not a cover) would that be easier to paint then textured plastic?

A member on here named thenewbreed has the $25 Mark LT handles and they are solid and the fit is good. You could buy the aftermarket Mark LT handle with the keypad and just sand the chrome, or buy the aftermarket LT and the aftermarket drivers door handle and swap the handle.

You could also sand yours. It's not hard just time consuming. I helped my brother sand his handles and when they were painted they looked perfect and oem. Like I said it's not hard just time consuming.

I'd rather buy some new handles and sand them...mainly because I need my truck daily so I wouldn't have time to work on painting them. I will probably just buy the new chrome handles. They are only 20$ each. So if they don't turn out good it isn't much of a loss.
