painted/black out bumpers & emblems

Looks like it's coming along! Once you get the lower strip painted black it will all tie together nicely!

I can't find my can laying around, but its just like a spray paint can. It's specifically for like chrome, wood, and plastics........I guess thats not really "specific" huh .

It's just like primer. AHHHH this is killing me....I cannot find it.

I got what your saying. It's basically a primer specifically for chrome. I'll see what I can come up with. And, thanks to your pics, I'm definitely doing my emblems with Krylon Fusion flat black once we get out of this deep freeze!! Thanks again man.

Self etching primer may do the trick

Haven't painted the lower two tone yet, don't have access to booth and to cold to paint in garage. Once the weather get warmer it will be done!

i did the same thing to my f150

blacked out emblems, oval, grill, all the plastic and bumpers...i would recommend the adhesive promoter by bulldog. its like $15 but my friend who owns a paint shop recommended it to me and my bumpers have held up great

Here is my tailgate painted black i used krylon paint after i sanded down the emblems with 100 grit sand paper, i was going for a rougher kinda look but i have been stopped alot the last few weeks people asking were i got them
