I also ran SilverStars before doing the HID retrofit, but there is no comparing HID and Halogen bulbs.

I'm running MaxCar R HID's in my heads and fogs and have had great luck with them. Just make sure you aim your lights down a bit so not to blind on coming drivers.

Running 6000K in both.

I did however forget to add, i have since then blacked out my heads which does reduce a bit of glare. other then that, i get compliments daily for my HID's.

I dont care how much you black out the headlights, there will always be glare without properly designed projectors. Please, be so kind as to post a cutoff pic.

And I don't hate HIDs at all, I think retro-fit HIDs are some of the coolest and most effective mods you could possibly do. But when it comes to the cheap ricer crap that refracts light everywhere, yes I hate it (and so do most other motorists).

I'm in the process of doing my retrofits right now. Opened the 2nd light this weekend and got the chrome all painted black and tinted the reflectors. Once I get my check from work, 2 months worth, I will order my HID retrofit kit: http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/ser...ETROFIT/Detail
Can't wait. I hate my Silverstars right now, way too yellow:

I'm doing a retrofit right now aswell. With the FX-R projector in a 04-08 headlight. I'm almost 3/4 done, and will post a how to in a couple of weeks.
