V-LED Switchbacks
What if I have LED Tailights (with resistors to prevent hyperflash) and then i add in the new flasher with the new LED front signals. What will the rears do since they have resistors? Im guessing it will not effect the rears but not sure how resistors operate. Im guessing the stock LED signals in the mirrors have resistors too since they work fine on the stock "flasher".
I don't know what resistors you have but it depends whether you have 2-bulb or 4-bulb resistors. If you just have the 2-bulb resistors for the rears only, then they will hyperflash with the new front leds. It will make your rears hyperflash also because when say the front drivers turn signal hyperflashes, so does the rear drivers bulb because the truck is telling you one of those bulbs is out.

Basically, i dont want to have to rewire the rear LEDs (since they came with resistors wired in) to remove the resistor because i installed the new flasher relay to correct the front signals. I'll just put resistors onthe front if so.
Im rambling, hope my question makes sense??? lol
My bad, I somehow missed the part about you talking about the new flasher. I would say that because right now your rears are seen by your truck as normal bulbs, the new flasher should see them as being normal bulbs also.
Disregard everything I just said, it would only apply to trucks 08 and older. ^^ I see you have a 2010 and they do not have flashers so you will have to use resistors. https://www.f150online.com/forums/el...er-relays.html

There are some good pictures and descriptions of where it goes in this thread.

They are in this thread. https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...n-signals.html
