Bull Bar opinions on my '10

Well, I'm considering a bull/push bar for my truck. I know Westin bars run about $250 range but cruising ebay I found these for $135 shipped.

What do you guys think about the style with the different skid plate? Well either style, looking for opinions on what it would look on the truck. My only concern is losing the tow hooks but it looks like you lose them with just about every bull bar.

well if you just want to add lights and keep your tow hooks, you might just want to get a light bar.. heres a pic of my truck with my home made one that i copy from others

other than that i would go for a full brush gurad and the best one i seen for the 09/10 is trail fx

I got the 135 bull bar from Ebay on mine. Same exact thing as the westin, even has the same style skid plate with the same slots cut. Just doesnt have Westin CNC'd in the skid plate.

Heres a pic. And you do loose the tow hooks sadly. I was upset at firsst but I like the look of the bull bar ALOT better than retaining the tow hooks.

I just gotta save some money for some good lights to put on it.

It even has the mounting holes in it. Covered by rubber plugs so all you do it pop out the plugs and bolt your lights to it.

I considered just a light bar, but I think I want something a little "more" on the front end. Yours looks good though.

Is yours holding up ok? I may go with that style since the other style says you can only fit 4.5" lights and I want 6". Any idea if it's wide enough if I made a piece of steel that ran across the mounting tabs I could fit four 6" lights in there?

As far as the tow hooks, I could probably live without them. When the winters hit and I'm pulling people out of the ditch I can just back up to them and the truck won't see any serious off roading. Thanks guys

Yeah, I personally like my bull bar. Concerning the spare wheel, a westy-style carrier is also an option if you want cleaner lines. i think they look good with the spare tire on the front, and that's the reason i have mine on there.

I would look at some other kind of light bar. I personally don't think those bull bars look right on the 09/10 because of the more squared off design of the truck.
