I liked having my grill painted black better, but right now its "color matched"

I hand make them, well used to, havent done one in a while, and not sure that I could find time to do another one

What do you just break the honeycomb out of another grill and put the puzzle together? If so what are you using to connect the peices?

Yea you cut out the emblem then using donor grilles to piece it together but it's not as simple as it seems because you have to match up the angles and everything.

I used quick steel epoxy and I'm in the process of sanding it down so it can be painted. There's a pic in the link called summer 2010 mods in my sig

Dude I have to do it. Are you using the steel epoxy to reconnect the cut out as well? That looks sweeeet.

hey not fair. haha. i havent said anything for a while. plus those pics would have helped cuz i did mine slightly different but still same end product,

I prefer plastic weld epoxy, but ya

i really meant about the 1 solid piece you used to fill the hole. im gonna try and finish mine up this weekend

If you have the grill out of the car,you could sand blast it with a f ine grit sand.They also make a adhesion promoter you can add to the paint,flash bond.

Hey patman found one grille today waiting on a response for the second. Then I'll begin mine. Don't want to ruin the one I have now just in case.. LOL.. When Im done I'll post it thanks for the help
