you'll prolly want to paint it them if you cut them. bc your gunna wind up taking off some of the chrome on the emblem. unless you get chrome touch up paint of some sort.

I kno one member used bondo or something similar to fill the gap, but after i painted mine it looked fine.

Heres the best close up i have of the gap. the white in the gap is just the 3m tape i didnt clean up all the way. Overall i think they came out great.
