Join the club DaveyD, we've got jackets.

Ford has been cracking down on logo reproductions lately. It seems anyone who makes a custom Ford logo and is visible enough to be found by us here is also visible enough to be found by Ford. The result is that as soon as we find a place to get them, the place gets shut down.

Sucks huh?

I've been wanting new badge overlays for about a month, and I think I've resigned myself to just taking the damn badges off.

What if your last name is Ford and you want your last name in the overlay, how can Ford tell you you can't have your last name on a decal?

If you make the decal yourself they probably can't do anything. But they can and have stopped companys from selling decals with the trademark Ford logo on it.

I wonder what the trademark covers? The oval and letters in that specific order regardless of font? Or is the oval and that specific font the only thing covered by the trademark.
