Opinion?

I want to add chrome rocker panels to my 2004 F150 Super crew, which brand is the best to buy? Does anyone have pictures of their truck with rocker panels?

i think the rocker panels look decent when applied right (a complete extension of the chrome bumpers), ive seen some that look just plain awful too....was originally planning on getting some for my 09 but didn't really see any that didn't just look like cheap "stick on" chrome sections, and i'm not into the kits that they sell where you have to cut them and customize them on your own....good luck with all that, im leaning towards ptm'ing the bumpers instead eventually....

I have a buddy with a Black Chevrolet that it looks good on. Never have I seen a F-150 that it looks anything close to good on.

I am not a fan either, but post pics of your truck...I am sure some will have other suggestions for you. I personally like Line-X'd rockers and bumpers (if they're chrome).

Horrible and extremely cheesy looking idea. I can't believe they actualy still sell enough of these things to continue production.

Wow, some major hatin' on the chrome around here in these forums. I'm not a big fan of over-the-top chrome myself, but different strokes for different folks. Personally I think some of the all one color or blacked out trucks look boring... but that's just my opinion.

I'm not saying I think it would look good, quite the contrary. I've not seen an F150 with chrome rockers I like either, but wow, some of ya'll are harsh. lol

Well, It's not my style... but if that's the look you wanting to go towards, I would look at Putco

I've heard they have some of the better quality materials...

Here are a few pics I found on google

IMO, the bottom picture isn't bad. The top one looks too busy. I suppose if it was me doing it, I would only do it with chrome bumpers; and I would be careful about going over board. Chrome is very, very easy to over do (probably why so many of us are so weary of these) so I would avoid other chrome add-ons. Keep it simple.
