hella black headlights

hella black headlights

my girlfriend suprised me with some today. i am gonna install them later this week either wed or thurs. anything i need to know before i install? my next project will be to blackout my taillights so any suggestions on what to do to them would be nice also

I did my hella heads about 2 weeks ago. Not hard at all. Someone suggested extra silicone around the seals but I opted not to. Gonna do my tails next too. Darren just put up a good write up on how to do Harley tails. I might go that route.

You might want to consider using the extra silicone, people have experienced leaks with these head lights.

yes i go have an awesome girlfriend...but now im scared to put them on lol...and do i need a speical blub or no?

where exactly should i put the extra sealent on these things? and does anyone know of somewhere to take the taillights to have them blacked out around jax,fl. cant really afford to mess them up lol

I never put any extra silicon around the edge, and mine leaked. I had had a wonderful experience dealing with my retailer on getting them replaced under warranty. I dont know if that extra silicon would void the warranty or not
