Chrome or Black?!?!

So as you can see below, my truck is pretty much a stock 2007 reg cab STX. I am starting to add on and make it my own, but Im having the damnest time deciding whether to go with a chrome or black look.

The first couple of things I want to do are nerf bars (gf is short!) and a bull bar/brush gaurd.

I have looked at alot of yalls trucks and like both styles. What do yall think, chrome or black?

And I know the first thing it needs is a good washing!

BTW, what the hell is this, a deer, a llama, WTF? --->

I would say black. Chrome is played out on the f150. Everything is chrome stock (headlights, bumpers, wheels, badges).

On the other hand chrome does look good on these blue trucks...

The most important thing is to make it your own.

No idea what the llama is about ??? I was going to ask the same thing

What area do you live in? Do you drive in snow? Salt on the roads?

If the answer to the last two questions is yes, I would go with black. Plus if black does have a rust problem you can repaint it.

seen snow once in its life

I like the look of the chrome with the blue, but in general I like the black better

Of course, if I go with black then Ill have to get black wheels, headlights, badges, etc.

I always go with too much of anything is a bad thing idea. I hate so much chrome it is blinding when you drive down the road but the blackout look is boring and way over done in the last few years IMO. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a blackout truck. I would incorporate both into your truck. How about some wheels with black centers and a chrome ring with chrome tube steps? Granted I am in the minority here.

Well.. I would go with black... Black rims, Black N-fabs, Saleen Grille, Black Headlights, tinted tails, tinted 3rd brake light, Black brushguard.. PTM Handles and Mirror Caps, black badges

Or if you wanted to go with chrome.. Chrome Rims, Stainless N-Fabs Chrome brush guard

Either way isn't gonna be cheap, but it would be fun! And if you go with the black, Go with the Ballistic Jesters and paint them. quick photoshop

Hmm, interesting point about mix and match.

Either way, I was thinking about at least matching the brush guard with the nerf bars.

Below is the front and back view, since the bumpers and grill are blue/black, maybe chrome nerf and brush guard, and rims with mostly black and chrome accents?

Just throwing ideas

THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!!!!

this would be alot easier if you didnt have PTM bumpers lol. but i personally like chrome on blue. but, like others have said, theres no need to stick to one. mix up chrome, black, PTM, whatever

oh and i forgot to say nice truck!
