Shark Fin Antenna

So I am tired of the ugly normal antenna on my truck and I am looking at getting a shark fin antenna. I was wondering if anybody has one of their truck. I can't seem to find one that will fit my truck. Any help is appreciated.

I couldn't find any pictures of it on a truck. I juts like the look of that over a normal antenna. I know they are know putting antennas like this on the new trucks.

I'd say do what he shows up your post, I don't like the look of those shark fin antennas unless its on a luxury car i.e.: BMW, BENZ etc....

just my opinion

I was just wondering what the shark fin would look like on a truck and I want to do something with the antenna I have now. IDNC76, do you know who makes the antenna you have? I will say I like the look of that one.

The billet shorty antenna look best but a quick caution - I went to one on my trck and it wasn't long before it broke off going thru a car wash. It actually broke off inside the antenna mount on the fender forcing me to replace the mount. Now the obvious lesson here is - DON'T GO THRU A CARWASH - or REMOVE THE ANTENNA first. But the second option is a PITB!

So I found this one, a flexible, rubber shorty antenna. Not quite as stylish as the bilet ones but it works.

Do these shorty antennas work just as well as the stock ones? I listen to my radio 99% of the time I'm in my truck so I don't want to lose any reception quality.
