I am thinking of tinting the front side windows on my Expd. The rear is factory, 20 %, front is curently stock. NC law is 35% percent max, on front sides. I am trying decide if it is worth it. Does any one have 35 percent on their Screw or Expedition. I would like to see how the 35 looks with teh 20 rear, before I spend teh cash and don't like it.

 

I have the 35% on the fronts of my 09 S. Crew.

MO is 35% also. Here is a couple shots of my old truck with 35% fronts and factory 20% on the rear. I have 20% now and have never had any problems...If i do, ill just pay the ticket, but i also think 35% is good.

i have 35% on my front windows, it registers at 30%..tomorrow it will be taken off and 20% will be put on..hoping it will register at about 15%

 

my 20% registers 14% thanks to a statie pulling me over i know that haha

 

yea the state law in texas is 25%......im still goin with 20 though!

 

if you want a dark comparison:

2 layers 15% front
1 layer 15% rear over factory 18

I do have some pictures in my gallery (older) that have 1 layer 15% front...could see right thru it. IMO not worth tinting if you are doing 30% or higher....

You will be able to tell a difference with the 35% tint.

I don't have any pics of mine but it's identical to 05BlackFX4's...... 15% over the factory tint on all the rear glass, double 15% on the front to make it match the rear, and a 5% sun-strip on the top of the windshield.
