painted headlights

painted headlights

I just blacked out my tailights and they look awesome!!!!! I want to know if there are any laws or rules that say I cant black out my headlights???

As long as you are painting the inner shells your fine. Dont smoke the lens and make it look weird. Many manufacturers especially GM are blacking out inner shells for looks. Stock Harley F150s are blacked too. Does not affect light output. Looks much better than smoked lenses too.

Ill post some up tommorow after i get done with school..... And I dont wana paint the inner part of the light. I want to "smoke" them as you say... and trust me the way that im gona do it, it will look awesome! I got the lightning heads lights with the clear corners... it will look good ill post some pics of that later too!

yes there are lays specifically stating that you cannot paint the lense of your taillights or headlights.

i personally think it would look ghey if you painted the lense on your headlights..
