I may do something similar on my Expy for trailer hook/unhook in the dark. Then I could switch to Navi taillights.

^ I don't even understand where his lights are. Hidden up under the bumper and aimed at the ground?

I've had a set of projectors that I've need to mount for almost a year now.

I'd like to do something similar at some point but worry about throwing stones into them driving on gravel roads.

I used to have PIAA 1500's and they blew out so I bought some amazingly bright Whelen Nano Pioneer Seriers lights LED's of course and used the relay that I had all hooked up from the other lights as well as the brackets. They are ridiculously bright .... they also were like $150 a light I think for the three heads but worth every penny I would say.
