those aren't halogens they are xenon bulbs. to use these properly you would need to get an hid kit. some companies make xenon replacement bulbs but these draw a lot of power from the stock harness so they are dangerous.

i got my hid kit from Xenonlink.com

my sister thought that she could get some piaa halogen bulbs with blue tips instead of the grey ones like the silverstars and they would be blue. 80 bucks later she ended up getting hids and i got me some new bulbs for 10 bucks haha.

you want hids something about 8000K-10000k to be blueish

you really cant tell much from the pics but here it is. drivers side is a Cuzo 80/100 watt and the passenger side is stock. i had the Nokya 80/100 before and they had more of a blue tint than these but still not even comparable to HID.

ill try to get some better pics because they have a lot more color than what you can see in these. honestly though these high wattage bulbs have less light output than the stock bulbs so the stock wattage blue bulbs probably arent worth a crap.

6000K is white w/ hint of blue. 8000K is pure blue. 10,000K is ultra-violet/purple.

careful of those 80/100 bulbs, those can and WILL melt your wiring harness. ive seen it.

I used Nokya Arctic White bulbs as mentioned in my stang before going to HID....they are blue and do produce more light than stock halogen. HID's cant be beat though.
