Hmm I'll have to see if I can work something out in that regard. I hate the new plates though.

I despise the new plates. Looks like they were trying way too hard.

I am in the process of doing the third brake light, and I was going to try to fix a scratch. Just a word of advice. Dont use touch up paint to try to fill in a deep scratch and then think you can polish it out and that it will look okay. Now it stands out more than it did before.. haha oh well. It is a truck after all.

I got an idea.. niteshade the license plate. Not really. Might be interesting though

What I meant by filling in a scratch was supposed to be separate from the niteshades 3rd brakelight part. I bought touch-up to fill in a scratch on my bedside hoping maybe it would turn out alright.. not so much. Looks better.. somewhat, but not anything like what I had hoped for.

Well, my third brake light hates me. I taped off the white light sections of the third brake light, and then niteshaded it. I had decided that I was going to remove the tape and go over the entire light as a last coat. I removed the tape, and all the adhesive stuck to the white sections. So I decided to try some goo be gone on it and got all the adhesive off, but those sections were still kinda sticky. So I used windex and everything seemed to be okay. I just went back out there and sprayed it and it looks... terrible.

haha well i guess we should do a group by on 3rd brake lights haha. what kind of tape are you using?

i just got back from PD and they said i should be good at night and the only issue is its difficult to see during the day so i may have to look into som new bulbs or say eff it.

on another note my heads got here. too bad they sent me the same exact things i had with clear corners and not smoked ones like i ordered. already sent them a fiery email and waiting on a response

Yeah we probably should. I got my 3rd brake light cleaned up somewhat. I had no idea what kind of tape it was. I was fresh out of masking tape, and I happened to find some white tape. Might be sports tape.. idk. Either way I said eff it and went over it anyways, and its not soo bad.

Sorry about the heads. Thats gay. I am going to try to niteshade my heads and if I dont like it then I will just buy the lightning replicas with the black housing and the harley look-a-like corners with the black housings and then niteshade those.

That is what I was thinking. I photoshopped it, and it didnt look that bad. Only thing is that with photoshop it wasnt very glossy/shiny and my paint color is extremely shiny. I just dont know if it would look right. I will probably do a flat black.
