Front end conversion

Does anyone knows if i can replace the fron end of my 97 f-150 with a newer model. i like the looks of the grille on the newer trucks. thank you

its been done many times


^that was at a show i attended on saturday

im not sure how 'bolt on' the front clip is but the body lines and everything match up pretty well

the only thing i noticed when inspecting that truck was there was a gap between the stock cowl plastic and the NBS hood. but im sure that could be fixed by using the NBS cowl as well

i think this expedition front end looks better, im not sure what all grilles you can get for them though.

DOOD, seriously thats probley the sickest F150 ive ever seen. OMG they should have went this direction on the 09's.

alot of people use the 03-06 expy clips because they are most bolt on.


Unless OP was just talking about going to a 99-03 clip, then you'd need grill, header panel, bumper brackets, and 3 bumper pieces. And new headlights if you have a 97 that was built in 96

Should be an 07+ clip, as that's when they switched over on the Expys. Seems they do facelifts on Expys a year ahead of F150s.
