Tips mus be cheaper, how much are the tips if you comparing them to the cost of a remote start kit?

I have a remote start and now I don't know how I could have lived without it... It's an outstanding upgrade...

I have remote start, and it's awesome. Here in Texas, I don't have to worry about warming the truck up too often, but on hot days I use the remote start to cool it down in 100 degree weather. Remote start is a nice feature, worth every penny.

Do you have any pics of the tips?

As some have said, it looks like you are looking at two very different price points. Tips can be had for anywhere from 50-150 bucks and a remote start goes for anywhere from 200 to sometimes 500+ depending on what you want.

My vote is remote start since you are in TX. I start my truck from my office about 20 min before I leave work and it is nice and cool by the time I get in the truck. I also have the paging feature which lets me know if someone or something has tripped the alarm. This is ESPECIALLY helpful if you ever want to upgrade anythign else with the truck.

I got the Code Alarm SRT-9000 and wired it up myself thanks to Travis @ KC Autosound and it has worked perfectly from day one. That and the ability to start it from a mile away (yes I have tried it ) made it an easy choice for me

sorry im writing back so late..

i already have the alarm for the truck so the remote start is only $100 dollars more at mothers window tint.

The tips a guy is selling at a truck shop for 120 each which would be 240 installed?

is that alot for tips? he told me if i bought them from some where else and had them weld them on he would "**** me in the labor"

Those are some expensive tips...

My 3.5x18" stainless Silverlines were $60.

Are they RBP (Rolling Big Power) tips?

If so, that price is right in the neighborhood...
