Wanting to Transform

The look of my F-150. It's an 08 Stone Green XLT 2wd. I want to get the Blackout look.

Looking to put a 2.5'' Leveling Kit in the front. 3' Body Lift, 30'' Nitto's, or Toyo's, Flowmaster 40 Series, and Rockstar Rim's.. How do you guy's think it would look? Anybody have one similar? Where can I get a new Bumper for it? (Stone Green)

Thanks,

BPJ

I dont think a 3 foot body lift would look good...

but a 3" would. and only 30s? im sure you could fit something like 35s, or 33s...

I would do 2" or 2.5" AS leveling kit. The some 33's with 18" or 20" rims.

Should look great. I'd go 33" Toyos. They're one of the most aggressive looking tires IMO. Rockstars are a great wheel--that's why so many people have them. Go for it!

A lot of us (myself included) went with Auto Spring from eBay. Last I checked it was only $69. Search 2" Auto Spring Lift Kit.

Here I'll make it easier: 2" AutoSpring Leveling Kit

Now that we have the Leveling Kit down.

Tires, tires, tires.

I won't be taking the Truck off-roading, just want it to be purtty.

Which tires would you say gives the Off-road look, but rides nice on the Road.

Hopeing to take you guys through the Transformation one picture at a time.

This one's more broad. You could go with a mud-terrain (MT) or an all-terrain (AT).

My recommendations:

AT: BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO

MT: Toyo Open Country M/T Radial

Pics (Hope Steve doesn't mind me posting his BFGs ):

BFGs (Steve's truck)

MTs (Mine)

Great looking trucks! Both of them!

Which size tires do you have?

His ATs are 285/65/20 and my MTs are 33x12.5R20.

Another quick question..

I'm not mechanic by any means. Still a High School boy.

Should I go with 2.5'' Kit, or 2''.

I would think the 2'' would level the back, and front out, but I never took a measurement.

I'm guessing the 2.5'' would make the front .5'' taller then the back, as the truck is 2WD. Correct?
