Because its where i get all my work done. As for custom install, that is still an option. I could easily lay a little fiberglass and smooth it out here and there. But working on a budget and about to close on a house my options were limited. Yes , blending is a option, but i had him paint the item, not the whole hood. So blending like that would be extremely hard. I will try to get a daytime shot, the paint difference is not as bad as it looks in those pics, that is mostly flash and taking pics at dusk and not having my truck clean. new york salt is pretty hard on paint and i have not yet this year done the clay bar.

here is a pic of my trucks paint after last years detail, you can see that my paint is still rather bright.

(and yes i hate those side stickers, just been too lazy to take them off.)

I shouldn't say it's not my thing. Cause I like cowl hoods. But, the problem (I) have with it. Is, it doesn't flow with the hood, or say the truck. It would have to be wider & longer for me. It looks too small for a truck. Get what I'm saying. But, in the end. It's his call, an that's all that matters. Good job with it, an good luck!

I never had a problem with the body shop matching the color on my 15 year old ranger when I owned it

I am a fan of cowl hoods but for some reason I'm not feelin this setup, maybe if it was little wider or bigger

Do you have a side shot of the truck with cowl? Maybe a full body angle shot?

What's with the bold letters? Almost as bad as all caps.

I'm also not a fan of it, but it's your truck. If you like it, good on you.

I'll type in bold, as much as I want. Got it Dillion! An your right, it won't get my point across any quicker. That's how (I) post. Sooooooo, what's the difference? When I start with the CAPS, then you can open your trap!

Glad we agree on something! It's not about being cool. It's about your smart azz reply. If it bugs you that freaking much. Don't read it, don't reply! It's that simple. I've been posting this way, for quite awhile on alot of different sites. Along with being a moderator of one. An not ONCE, did I hear or get, that's it's almost as bad as caps. Why is that Mr. Dillion?
