Roush Stripe or Not?

I found a good deal and bought Roush rocker panel stripes on an impulse. After thinking about it, I know they'd look good but i dont know about being a Roush poser. What do you think, put it on anyway or sell it?

Its a bright red 07 STX with FX2 parts (wheels, lights, grill, putting valence on tonight).. Considering the Patriot Decal hood decals to compliment the side stripes, the ones that go up the crease of the hood. The side of my truck was just to solid and I wanted something to break it up. Now that Ive seen them in person I think I could get a guy I know who does vehicle graphics to measure out and make F150 letters to fit in the place of "Roush".

I like some strips on a solid color truck as long as it isn't overdone. On my f350 I installed the same as roush strip and had sd-415 in place of roush. I didn't install racing strips on it because of the lease but I think it would look way better with racing strips also. On my foose I love the strip and mine is bright red.

Thanks, installed the FX2 valence tonight and it cleaned up the front end nice. Cant wait to put the stripes on this weekend on the side to give it some pop. So I guess the question now is what to replace the "Roush" with and possibly what to put on the hood decals from Patriot.

Just a quick cell phone picture of the stripes I put on today. Very happy with them and between those and the FX2 valence it looks like a brand new truck for around $180. (104 for the stripes shipped, 50 for the valence + 30 for shipping)

I like the stripes, I'd stay away from the hood stripes though. Puts too much emphasis on one place for me... and you'd better be damn fast if you're gonna putem on. Thats all personal opinion.

jakek... mind sharing how/where you got those done? I'm a fan and would definately be interested. How you think they would look in blue on a black 07?

That doesn't look bad at all, very nice. The new valance looks good too. I say go for the hood bulge side stripes with your engine liter name at the base.
