Best wipers

What are the best wipers for an 04 f150. I've heard good things about Bosch, and I'm interested in the Rain-X Latitude. What do you guys prefer, and what is the best bang for the buck? I'm still a poor college student.

I put on a set of the Rain-X Latitudes and they work great. They've only been on for a few months, so I can't really comment on their longevity. The set was like $40, so they definitely aren't the cheapest.

Had mine for about 8 monthsso far..well had the one for that long. Drivers side end piece broke off in the winter of course and the blade wanted to just walk its way on out of the assembly. Mine work OK. Not crazy how the ends don't fit tight to the windshield but not bad other than that.

I had some Bosch Excels and the sratched my windshield. A few months ago, I bought some Rain-Z at Oriellys for about $12 each, and they are great. Do an excellent job with no noise.

Silblades. I won't have anything else. I've been on the same set now for greater than 4 years although, they're nearing replacement.

Mine are pretty bad, the drivers one is about halfway gone and the passenger side the wiper part is completely gone

ETA: Our trucks require the 20 inch blades correct?

Since you're down south and don't have to deal with wiper eating snow and ice, go with the good ones that cost more.

I have noticed in the last few years that blades do not last like they used to. Even ANCO's won't last 2-3 months anymore. I guess I'm gonna have to try some others mentioned here. One of my BIG pet peeves is a dirty windshield even if the rest of my truck is filthy AND crappy wipers. Argh!

Its funny how wipers you used to buy don't last very long so you have to pay MORE to get better instead of making the standard wipers better and increase THEIR price.

Stock is 20" I believe... most of us have 22"

On your silblades, how long have you had them? Keep in mind that they have 5 year warranty.

www.silblade.com for information but, they can be purchased cheaper elsewhere (I bought mine at ttstuff.com).

Edit: looks like they've changed the warranty to 90 days.

I replaced my stock ones with 20" Rain-X, forgot what ones but they were $38, they work fantastic.
