Fender Flares

I just put a 6" procomp lift with 35" tire on my 08 F150 about 2 months ago. I work in the oilfield of northern Canada and drive alot of really rough roads. My wheel wells are taking a bad beating because there is nothing there to protect them. I was considering using some 3M tape to protect them but from what I've heard on this site it doesn't last for very long or work very well. So I need flares. I hate the look of flares but I hate having a scratched up truck even more. I wouldnt mind getting some very subtle looking flares to protect the wheel wells. My tires stick out about 2". Does anybody have any good suggestions? Pics would be great too!
