So I decided that tommorrow night I'm going to tackle my headlights and black them out. I've searched and read all the good and the bad. One question I never really saw answered is if I need to sand them or just go straight to paint. I'm going to be using some gloss black Kryon Fusion. Anyone know for sure, or have any recommendations? Thanks ahead of time!

 

i would scuff it up a bit , i didnt , and when i tried to put em back together it chipped in a few places and i had to re-spray em

 

Oh yea...Hit them with some 600 grit before hand.
