anyone put some different gauges in their trucks? the dark with green is getting old.


i know auto meter makes a dash cluster kit for the truck with the lunar style gauges.

anyone have any experience with this? good bad weird doesnt look like the picture ect.
what color are the gauges when lit? and how acurrate are they?

im just lookin for somethin to maybe give the gauges a new look.

shoot me ur ideas and opinions!

I don't have any experience with the Autometer gauge cluster, but I have installed a few of their gauges in friends cars and they are a decent product, no complaints yet.

If you don't want to go that route you could always replace the LEDs behind the cluster. Use the search function and you should pull up a couple threads. A few guys on here have done it successfully, though it is a very labor intensive project.

 

I changed all (well, 90%) of my bulbs to LEDs and got this:

 

Check ebay, thats where i got mine... i think it was $80 and i got the A/C panel to match. heres the pics... there old buy they work...lol

 

WTF happend to the top of the speedo? That would bug the hell out of me.

naw I was thinkin the CEL's and what not were stock colors...
