My HID Experience...

Well I finally broke down after reading so many posts and looking at pictures to get a HID set. Reading great reviews about them, I went with Xenonlink and got the 6000K Bi-Xenon Kit. I'm not the type of person to spend money on something that I have never seen first-hand, but let me tell you, I'm glad I did. I've had Silverstar Ultras which I thought were bright....but nothing compares to these HID's.
The box came when Will said it would...3 days...and was packaged almost with too much protection. The directions were not all that helpful but with a couple friends and a few phone calls to Will, I got everything worked out and I couldn't be more excited. I would definitely go with the Bi-Xenon for just 35 more bucks...it's worth it, in my opinion. Anyway...everyone likes the pictures...
...never posted pictures before, but I think this should work...
This is where I mounted the right ballast into a pre-existing ground wire screw

Left side..behind and under the lamp

And just some pictures...sorry no night shots yet

The lamp looks really blue and great, but the beam and road output is pure white

Those seem really blue for 6000k's. Now you need some fogs to match

Did you have any problems with your drivers side bulb not fitting and hitting the steel behind the head light?....because I am and it looks like I am the only one???

Passenger fits and just clears but the drivers side is almost 1/4 to long....

I had no problem but I did notice that they are very close to the body....(the silver part behind the bulb).....Both headlights should have an identical setup so I don't see how one bulb could fit and the other couldn't. Did you make sure you had the bulb tightly secured and pushed all the way in? That's the only thing I could think of that might be wrong.

Yea, the bulb was all the way in....I don't understand either why one side would work and the other not...But this happening to me sounds about right as just about anything I have done to this truck has turned out to be one big PITA. I am actuality surprised the fogs went in with no problems!

I will give William a call on Monday along with trying them again if I have some time this week.
