I did the same a while back, but made new needles for @ 4.00 ! swapped out the cluster, all the doors and switches, then the a/c and the radio and even made a new face for the stock radio.... used two different shades of blue just to see which I liked better... the dark matches my cluster better, so I'm going to match everything up.
I was doing this on the side, bought extra parts to send to people while I swapped their stuff out. 250.00 for the whole truck, it's @ 12 hrs of work.

That last link you posted of the Guage is sweet. I would like to do this but I have to have concrete info b4 I go hacking. Shoot me a pm, I would like to chat more about this
