Alast! my blue cluster is complete!
First of all thanks for allthe compliments!
The whole process realy wasn't that hard once I got into it.
I knew that the gauge face had that funky green film behind it,so I setout to learn everytrhing I could learn about removeing the gauge overlay.Which involed removing the cluster removing the clear cover which just pops off, removing the needles, and carfully removing the black overlay. The overlay was "tacked" if you will to the light diffuser behind it in about 4 spots.I just took a razor blade on the end of my needle nose pilers and just wedged it right off being very careful not to cut through the face overlay. With the overlay off I took some fine grit sand paper and a razor and scraped off the film behind all of the numbers and letters,Don't be afraid to take off to much of the surrounding area becase the light can only come through where the lines and numbers are the rest is not clear through just where the light normaly comes through. Then I wiped the sweat off my fore head, put the face back on with alittle glue to hold it in place.I put on the new needles which are the clear ones, put the clear cluster cover back on the front. For lights I put the blue leds behind the cluster in place of all of the ones that illuminate the face/I left the normal ones behind the blinkers and engine light though.Thats about it though it wasn't that bad, anyone with about $150 bucks and a rainy day could do it!

The easy part was the cluster, the rest of the truck had to be soldered together.(a real pain in the neck!)But know that it done I can enjoy it finaly.
The cluster took blue-74-BHP3's from superbriteleds.com
The rest of the truck took 3mm blue leds that I could solder in place of the green ones.

Damn... I want to do white, and have my whitefaced gauge circles light up
I made custom gauge overlays for my showcar a while back when I worked at a graphics company... this should be a piece of cake if its just soldering in LED bulbs.
