Oh DDM....

I placed my HID order from DDM on the 4th of this month. I've heard bad things about their customer service but I ordered nonetheless based on their lifetime warranty. Their site says full kits take up to 5 days to process. On top of that I paid for 3-day shipping. Well, over two weeks later and I still hadn't heard a thing from them. I called several times with no answer.

So this morning I got fed up and sent them an e-mail.
I would like to cancel this order. It's been over two weeks without word from anyone about the status of the order. I have tried calling several times to avoid e-mailing but no one has answered. I would assume you guys are extremely busy so to save both of us some trouble I'd like to cancel the order and receive a refund. Sorry for the trouble but I appreciate your help.

So after two weeks of not hearing a peep from them about my order I sent that. Not less than an hour later I receive an e-mail telling me my order just shipped out today. Pics will come as soon as I get them in.

How ironic. They were probably shipping them as you were sending the email. Good to know though. I am going to be ordering hids from somebody soon. Ill think twice about these guys. I would ask for a refund on the 3 day shipping though.

I'm not too worried about the shipping as it will still ship faster than normal. Just took them forever to process the order and get it together. Their customer service isn't that great because they apparently have a ton of orders. However, if you can live with it the lifetime warranty can't be beat. That's my reason for going through them....if anything goes wrong I won't have to buy a whole new kit.

Whats odd about them, Is they work ALL weekend. I ordered my third set a little over a week ago and got a call around 8:30 saturday night with a shipping problem. Then I got a call around 7 on sunday night telling me everything was fixed and was getting shipped out monday. But with as many orders as they recieve, some are bound to fall thru the cracks. Hope you like them!

As do companies who don't let the customer (who's already paid) know that the what they ordered is on backorder.

At least their kits seem to be good, once you get them. But it'll take an act of god for you to reach someone if you run into a problem.

If you bought the fog kit, you'll want to pick up a set of connectors like these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9005-...Q5fAccessories Or you'll be using their cheap push in pins to connect to the stock connector. Real nice, all those weather tight connectors and they cheap out on the connection point.

Yeah I'm worried about that, but late is always better than never. Thanks a ton for the tip about the fogs!

Cool

Woot Woot! Hids are awesome....Here this might give you an idea for ballast mounting....don't just zip tie them on there. BTW ddm answered my call even though they took forever to ship

Take pics

My fogs were plug and play and came with a harness...don't think you need those connectors just take the extra cable out

Nice, glad you posted! That looks great. I'll probably make a custom mount for the ballasts, too. I have placed the order for the ebay stuff but haven't paid through paypal yet. I'll see if I can still cancel it. If I need them I can always buy them later.

Yea when you first get the kit your like so many wires! but after you analyze it, it is quite simple. Make sure you have zipties though and if you need any more pics just ask
