Finally got them....

I finally received my Hids and installed them with my dad. Up top I have the 55w high/low kit from ddmtuning and on the fogs I have the h10 single beam.
We made brackets for the ballast and ran all the wires out of site. I was supposed to do a full documentation but......
Anyways here are some pics the top is 55w 8000k and the fogs are 35w 6000k. None of the harness was cut and everything stayed pretty much factory only drilled the truck once to hold the relay but it looks like it came from the factory like that. The headlights were purchased from ebay hopefully they don't leak.

these are the custom brackets

i have a 04 with the rectangular fogs and i put 6k in my fogs also and 8k in my heads.....had 8k in the fogs and they did not match the heads at all so i put 6k in the fogs and it was a much closer match to the 8k headlights..

I dont see how or why that would happen. And why is he goign with 35w and 50w? Is that the norm too?

Thanks for the compliments I went 8k up top because the 55watt kits tend to wash the color out....went with 35watt 6000k to get a color match and the reason I didnt go 55watt is because the 55watt produces too much heat and could melt the fog housing. My highs and lows work perfect except my fogs turn off when I hit the highbeam, the reason for that is that I didn't get a high and low kit for the fogs.
But it's all good, don't think I ever use my high beams.

I think the color looks the same in person....but once again 55watt kit washes out the color according to ddm tuning.

Mine didn't wash out. I got 55W H13 6000K single beams for my heads and 35W H10 5000K for my fogs. Colors don't match as well as my uncle's setup of 55W H13 6000K single for heads and 35W H10 6000K for fogs. Oh well.

Look up the bambi mod on here and its a 1 wire hook up and allows you to have fogs on with high beams and doesn't cost nothing but your time and a single female connector

pretty sure I will never have another vehicle w/o HID's. They make such a difference as fair as visibility and overall look!

Looks great man. How much of a difference is the 8k vs 6k? Front end looks really good, btw.

they are pretty much a dead match...since the 55watt kit washes out the color....I guess the top lights are so bright that the camera can't capture the color
