No problem grassman. Im a "n00b" too.

So the 9145 fogs will fit too? Whats the difference between the 9005 and 9145 foglights?

Still waiting for them to reply to my email and replace my bulbs.

9145s (fog bulbs) are with 45W or 40W, while the 9005s (high beam bulbs) are 65W (IIRC).

They have slightly different bases, so you won't put the fogs in the highs and vice versa, but cutting part/all of one of the tabs (can't remember which one) solves that little problem.

So i need h13 for my heads and 9005's for my fogs? If i want brighter fogs i just have to get the 9145's and cut a few tabs to make them fit?

From Elvato's post, i understand it to be the other way around. 9145's arent quite as bright and fit perfectly. The 9005's are brighter and may need some trimming.

Correct?
