I took my old decals off with a hairdryer and a fingernail. It should peel up fairly easily if you warm it up first. If a hairdryer isn't enough try a heat gun but be careful. As far as replacements check out Patriot Decals.

How big of hard emblems are you wanting? Where did you want to put them? You could do something simple like this. I think this looks awesome. This truck belongs to rsbeachbum2. Hope he doesn't mind.

Thats exactly the type of emblem I am looking for! Where did he get them? So he just put one in the back, nothing to replace the decals on the sides.

I was able to just peel off my STX stickers. No hairdryer or anything just peel 'em off.

I think i'll use the hairdryer first. The dealers stickers were enough to get off. Thanks.

Just used the hair dryer and fingernail to pull it off....came off all in one piece. Then clayed off the remaining gunk off and waxed the areas. I might get some decals from patriot later on, but right now I like the clean look.

Used my fingernail.... that was it, came right off. Didnt even leave residue behind. Waxed the whole bed afterwards(actually did the whole truck shortly after) cuz you could see where they were.

When I bought my truck it was summer time and since it is black I just let it sit in the sun for awhile and peeled them off with just my fingernail. I did the same thing with the emblems on the Expo I had and when I (gasp) owned a GMC. Lucky for me, my Dad let me back into the fold when I got back to Fords. LOL

Readmitted to the family huh? hahahahaha Yeah, my neighbors kid came over yesterday to bust my chops about my new Ford. Then I asked him about his chevy, it was going in the shop again. Go figure.

I used a hairdryer and polish, then wax after that..... Worked great!

Was worried after being a black car the color would be different - no problem!

sml175 BTW - is that the fender emblem off the Explorer SportTrac?

I Just let mine sit in the baking summer sun, after a full day of that they peeled right off with no damage or residue left behind.
