HID Bulbs?

I was looking at some HID 8500K Xenon Bulbs they are only about 20 bucks, seems like a cheap upgrade. Any experience with them? How do they compare to the HID coversion kits. Obviously the kits are better but are they worth the $150?

I think those bulbs are just regular bulbs that look like hids. And I am running xenon link bi-xenon h13 bulbs in my headlights. They have digital ballasts and come with the relay to pull juice from the battery when you ignite them. The kit is high quality and was well worth the money. He is a site sponsor here and will give you a discount. If you search xenon link you will come up with his thread and there is anything and everything you need to know right in that.

Those bulbs are probably just a cheap version of the stock bulb with a different type of coating on the bulb to change the color. It is not gonna change your light output, if anything it will go down because of the extra coating on the bulb.
