Hey guys i went to ford to pick up and emblem for my fx2 grill and they werent sure what size emblem to give me. They game me part number
f81z8213ab which is a smaller emblem than the one from my H-Bar style grill.ANYONE KNOW THE FORD OEM PART NUMBER OF THE EMBLEM FOR THE FX2 GRILL?

 

pre-97's used a tiny Blue Oval

1997-2004 used a slightly bigger oval, with 2004-present being hella huge. You most likely got one for the 10th gen (97-04), so go back and get the (obviously) bigger one.

 

The 97-04's used a 7 inch oval and the later trucks, like my 06 uses a huge 9" oval. 7" PN is E7TZ8213BB - $20.43 at www.discountfordpartsaty2kford.com --- probably cheaper than your dealer!

 

thanks but everytime i go to ford they have no idea what im talkin about and have a hard time understanding that i have an 05 f150 fx4 with an fx2 grill with no emblem and that i need the emblem. They then ask me for what year and i tell them that i have an 05 and they say that the big emblem fits to the fx2 space but i know it doesnt because the space is alot smaller and the holes dont match up. So i told them "okay just give me the emblem for an 08 fx2" and i got this part number f81z8213ab which i dont think is right because they were just trying to brush me off.

 

The FX2 grille uses a 7 inch emblem and all the other emblems for 04+ are 9 inch emblems. Not sure of the part number.

The 1997-98 Ford grill logo is 5 3/4 " long. The 1999-03 are 7 " long. The 97-98 would look bad with the 7" because the grill is also smaller.

Why is it damn near impossible to find the front grille emblem for my 2005 F150? I can't seem to find it anywhere. This emblem is 9 inches (22.86 cm) wide, 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall with two plastic studs on the back that are approx 5 11/16 inches (14.5 cm) apart.

Can someone help? Does anyone have one they would like to sale me?

 

Just go to the dealership and ask them for a 04 -08 F150 FX4 grill emblem and they should set you up.

 

what would be the way to remove the emblem and put on another one? Id be interested in taking mine off and replacing it with a bigger one...
